National Transport Commission

The National Road Transport Commission develops and co-ordinates regulatory reform for nationally consistent road transport policies and laws.

Standing Council on Transport and Infrastructure

The Standing Council on Transport and Infrastructure (SCOTI) has replaced the Australian Transport Council. It met for the first time in November 2011. It provides advice to governments on the co-ordination and integration of all transport and road policy issues at a national level.

The council has also released a 'National Road Safety Action Plan 2015–17.
