New service for adults and children experiencing family violence—The Orange Door

The Orange Door is a free support service for adults and children who are experiencing or have experienced family violence, or families who need additional support caring for children.

The Orange Door is a free support service for adults and children who are experiencing or have experienced family violence, or families who need additional support caring for children. The services makes an assessment, performs safety planning and hooks people in with available services. They can assist individuals or groups. People can drop in during business hours or call the 24-hour phone service.

Centres have opened in Baccus Marsh, Ballarat, Bendigo, Box Hill, Colac, Frankston, Geelong, Heidelberg, Mildura, Morwell, Ovens Murray, Shepparton and Swan HIll.
