Financial assistance for people affected by floods

The Victorian Government is providing a one-off payment to assist people who are in immediate need of food, clothing, shelter, medication or accommodation.

Payments are up to $560 for adults and $280 per child up to a maximum of $1960 for eligible families.

Emergency re-establishment assistance payments may also be available to people if their family home is uninhabitable, damaged or destroyed by the floods. Up to $42,250 may be available to repair, rebuild, clean up, or replace some damaged contents.
