Drivers moving to Victoria from overseas and interstate may drive on Victorian roads using their current licences or permits for 6 months before they must apply for a Victorian licence or permit.

From 29 October 2019, drivers moving to Victoria from overseas and interstate may drive on Victorian roads using their current licences or permits for 6 months before they must apply for a Victorian licence or permit. This change gives interstate drivers 3 months longer to use their interstate licences.
