Court Fine Collection Statements are now being issued

Fines Victoria is recovering from IT problems, which prevented court fines being processed.

Fines Victoria is recovering from IT problems, which prevented court fines being processed. There are currently 120,000 court fine notifications waiting to be processed.

No enforcement action is being taken against people who have court fines but have not yet received their Court Fine Collection Statement (collection statement).. However, once a person gets a collection statement, they must take steps to comply with the court order to avoid enforcement action in the future.

People who get a collection statement may be able to consolidate eligible court fines and infringements issued by other enforcement agencies into a single payment arrangement.

Clients who have not yet received a collection statement may make payments by attending the Fines Victoria counter at 277 William Street, or to attend in person at their local Justice Service Centre.

See Fines—Justice Service Centre locations.

To access fact sheets about court fines for clients and also for lawyers and advocates see Court fines.
