All drink drivers must be disqualified from driving

All drink driving offences that happen after 29 April 2018 will result in the driver being disqualified from driving for at least the minimum period set out in Schedule 1 of the Road Safety Act 1986 (Vic).

All drink driving offences that happen after 29 April 2018 will result in the driver being disqualified from driving for at least the minimum period set out in Schedule 1 of the Road Safety Act 1986 (Vic). It will no longer be possible for drivers with very low readings to avoid this if it is their first offence.
